After graduating high school, I went straight into a business degree which soon turned into an accounting degree.

I didn’t know quite which direction I wanted to take my life, but accounting seemed like a good, stable path to take.

…Well at least that’s what I was told. ?

After a grueling three years, I realised accounting didn’t align with my gifts, values, vision, and passions, and I certainly didn’t enjoy it!

“If I quit, what will I do with my life?” was the question I continued asking myself.

I looked at the people around me, both my age and ten to fifty years down the track, and couldn’t possibly bear the thought of simply settling for a 40 hour work week for the rest of my life in a job which made me miserable.

ur days should be filled with purpose, passion and doing the things we love and value, right!

So despite my own self-doubt, and the doubts of those around me, I took the plunge and quit the degree.

…I breathed a sigh of relief, nervous also but excited for what my future held.?

I decided to spend several months in Mongolia and China doing humanitarian work.

This season sparked within me a great desire to think about what I really wanted to do, what I enjoy, not what society says I should do or how I should think.

Luke and I were happily married shortly after this trip and I began to think more about how I could create a lifestyle where I could practically love others with my time and finances and enjoy it all at the same time.

WHICH began the quest to separate my time from money.

Money makes the world go round… so we thought “Why not take money, which so many wrongs in the world are committed through, and use it to make a lasting impact on the lives of others?!”

But I wasn’t sure how to do that and what it would look like. 

It was around this time that we were introduced to some AMAZING mentors who turned our lives upside down.

I can’t give them enough credit, our mentors have been such an integral part of my journey to change my lifestyle.

They’ve really helped us make it all possible. 

I don’t know where I’d be without such amazing support and leaders to follow.

They’ve given us all the education, training, coaching and community to make what was once a distant dream, a reality.

Life for me looks completely different to what it used to!

I’ve been able to volunteer at a local not-for-profit organisation for 2 years, Luke and I are also involved in ongoing support of children in developing countries, and more and more we’re able to bless others through finances.

Also, for the first time ever, the prospect of becoming a mother is exciting to me (because I actually have the time and freedom to be a stay at home and present parent)!

So all these things that people say are “just a dream”, I’ve been acomplishing!

I’m believing more than ever that fun, adventure, and relaxation is essential for a sustainable lifestyle.

But you have to create it! 

An online business is hard work to set up, but the long-term benefits far out way any possible discomfort.

I haven’t regretted it for a second!

My goal is to bridge the gap between life and business, proving to people that it’s not only possible to be financially free, but follow your passion, fulfill your personal goals and make positive changes to the world, because people matter and so does your lifestyle! ?
